Air Corps conduct two Air Ambulance missions.

The Air Corps completed two simultaneous Air Ambulance missions in the early hours of this morning.

The first mission involved an organ retrieval mission bringing an HSE team on the Air Corps G4 from Dublin to Cork departing Casement Aerodrome Baldonnel at 11.10pm and completing the mission at 2.40am.

In the second mission a patient was transferred from Baldonnel to London Heathrow on the Air Corps Learjet. The aircraft departed Baldonnel at  00.05am and landed in Heathrow at 00.50am. The patient was then transferred to Kings College Hospital, London by road.

These are the 51st and 52nd Air Ambulance missions carried out by the Air Corps so far this year.
