Episode 10 of the Army Equitation School Centenary Series features Lieutenant Colonel Brian MacSweeney.
Lt. Col. MacSweeney reflects on the influence of both the Army and horses in his childhood, and how these combined to set him on a path that ultimately led to a historic individual bronze medal for the Army Equitation School at the 1981 European Eventing Championships in Horsens, Denmark, aboard Inis Meain.
He also discusses his early life at McKee Barracks, his time in the Transport Corps following a serious riding accident, and the journey that later led him to become Officer Commanding of the Army Equitation School.
