Episode 9 – Dee & Des O’Sullivan

Dee and Des O’Sullivan were part of the Irish Army Equitation School during an important period in its history, working behind the scenes with some of Ireland’s leading international riders.

Among the first female grooms in the School during the early 1990s, Dee worked closely with Commandant John Ledingham, while Des was a key part of Commandant Gerry Mullins’ team. Having first met in McKee Barracks, the couple's grooms' careers reflected the dedication, horsemanship and teamwork required for success at the highest level of international competition.
