The Medical Corps plays a vital role in safeguarding the health and operational readiness of Defence Forces personnel at home and overseas. It delivers a broad range of medical and dental services to support both physical and mental wellbeing. We are looking for skilled dentists looking to provide top-quality care in a dynamic and fulfilling environment.
Key Requirements
- Eligible to live and work in Ireland
- Under 50 years of age at application closing date
- Degree in Dental Surgery and registration with the Irish Dental Council
- Minimum 3 years’ postgraduate experience
- Meet required medical, fitness, and security standards
Key Duties
- Provide comprehensive dental care to military personnel.
- Conduct routine check-ups, cleanings as well as advanced dental procedures.
- Collaborate with other healthcare providers in the military.

Training & Placement
Successful candidates complete a six week military induction course within six months of commencement of their role.
