Cuairt an Chomhairleora Míleata ar an nGinearál Birame Diop de chuid UNHQ
Tráthnóna inniu, thug an Comhairleoir Míleata i Roinn na nOibríochtaí Síochána, Ceanncheathrú na Náisiún Aontaithe, an Ginearál Birame Diop, cuairt ar Scoil Oiliúna na Náisiún Aontaithe in Éirinn (UNTSI) i gCampa an Churraigh. Bhí an Ceann Foirne, an Leifteanant-Ghinearál Seán Clancy, i dteannta an Ghinearáil Diop.
General Diop laid a wreath in remembrance of Irish soldiers who have lost their lives in the service of peace while serving with the UN. He also planted a tree on the grounds of UNTSI to commemorate the visit.
Following the ceremony General Diop spoke to the Joint and Land Command and Staff courses, and members of the senior enlisted forum.
