In Episode 2 of the Irish Defence Forces Podcast we speak to Lieutenant Commander Mike Brunicardi, Captain of the Irish Naval Vessel LÉ James Joyce, which at the time of recording was alongside Sir John Rogerson's Quay in Dublin in support of a Health Service Executive and National Ambulance Service COVID-19 Community Testing Centre. We speak about the operations the vessel has conducted since leaving Haulbowline Naval Base on April 06th, the current maritime environment around Ireland and the role of the vessel in supporting the Health Service Executive in the fight against COVID-19.
