An Cosantóir Irisleabhar

Is í An Cosantóir iris oifigiúil Óglaigh na hÉireann. Foileadh den chéad uair i 1940 í, agus cuireann sí faisnéis chruinn agus thráthúil ar fáil faoi oibríochtaí agus beartais Óglaigh na hÉireann dá baill, dá dteaghlaigh agus do pháirtithe leasmhara ar fud an domhain. D’fhéadfadh ailt a bheith i gceist le trealamh nua, oiliúint, seirbhís thar lear, gníomhaíochtaí agus éachtaí aonad agus aonair, cúrsaí míleata idirnáisiúnta, stair mhíleata, spórt agus i bhfad níos mó in eagrán tipiciúil. Foilsíodh lógó An Chosantóir den chéad uair in eagrán Márta 1981 den Chosantóir. Is scáthchruth é de Shaighdiúir, Mairnéalach agus Aerfort a shiombailíonn Trí-Sheirbhís Óglaigh na hÉireann. Beidh an lógó seo le feiceáil ar fud an tsuímh ghréasáin. Ciallaíonn sé seo go bhfuil an t-alt a bhaineann leis le feiceáil in eagrán dár n-iris 'An Cosantóir'.
