Defence Forces Remembrance Ceremony, Merrion Square
The purpose of the Defence Forces Remembrance Ceremony is to provide an internal event for serving members and invited guests to commemorate members of Óglaigh na hÉireann who died in service in the past year. This event complements the existing barrack level ceremonies that take place in installations across the country in the first week of November.
The event will now take place at 12pm on the 04th of December 2019 at the National Memorial, Merrion Square, Dublin.
Óglaigh na hÉireann would like to thank Dublin City Council, An Garda Síochána, and associated transport operators for their assistance and understanding.
