United Nations Interim Administration Mission in Kosovo
UNMIK was established under UNSCR 1244 to lead an interim civilian administration in Kosovo.
Although the mission is mainly civilian in nature there is a Military Liaison Component that operates within the Office of the Special Representative of the Secretary General.
