Air Corps complete Two Air Ambulance Missions.
The Air Corps successfully completed two Air Ambulance missions over the last two days.
In the first Air Ambulance, a patient was transported in the Air Corps Learjet from Casement Aerodrome, Baldonnel, to RAF Northolt, London yesterday.
The Learjet departed Casement Aerodrome at 11:30am and arrived in RAF Northolt at 1:00pm, where the patient continued their journey to a London hospital by road.
The second Air Ambulance was completed by an Air Corps AW 139 Helicopter, which transported a patient from Waterford to Dublin this afternoon.
The helicopter collected the patient from the helicopter pad at Waterford Regional Hospital and transported them to the helicopter pad in Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital, Crumlin, landing at 5.05pm.
This brings the total of Air Ambulances completed by the Air Corps this year to 7.
