Showjumping 2015 Highlights

Ringwood Glen and Capt Michael Kelly competed successfully on the International & national circuit throughout 2015 with notable victories in the Premier Grand Prix classes at the National Balmoral Championships and Tattersalls Show. This combination were also members of the Irish team that achieved 2nd place in the Gijon CSIO5* Nations Cup.  Ringwood Glen is an 11 year old gelding by VDL Arkansas out of a mare by Kilglass Pennistone and bred by Ray O‚ÄôReilly.

Drumiller Lough and Capt Michael Kelly had a hugely successful season in 2015 clocking up numerous wins in classes throughout the European circuit at shows which included, Vejer de la Frontera CSI3*, Chantilly CSI2*, Fontainebleau CSI2*& Lezno CSI3* Drumiller Lough is a 12 year old gelding by Heartbreaker, out of a mare by Mountain Pearl and was bred by Paul Dillon.

Dollanstown and Lt David Power competed successfully on the National Grand Prix circuit throughout 2015 with numerous placings and made their debut on the European circuit notable by taking 4th place in the Grand Prix at Chazey sur Ain CSI2*. Dollanstown is a 10 year old gelding by Ard VDL Douglas, out of a mare by Cavalier Royale and bred by Caroline Bjoerk.

Mullaghbane and Capt Geoff Curran competed on the Nations cup European Circuit during 2015 as members of the Irish teams that placed 4th at Odense CSIO3*and Drammen CSIO3*. This combination also participated successfully on the National Grand Prix circuit throughout 2015 clocking up many placings. Mullaghbane is an 11 year old gelding by Parco, out of a mare by Porsch and bred by George Allen.

Eventing 2015 Highlights

River Derg and Capt Geof Curran had a very successful season in 2015 achieving numerous placings and wins in both national and international events, most notable results include 3rd place  in CIC2* Camphire International Horse Trials and 11th place CIC3* 8&9 Year Old Championship, Blenheim Palace International Horse Trials. River Derg is a 9 year old gelding by Ard VDL Douglas, out of a mare by Western Promise and bred by Maeve Mc Evoy.

Capt Geoff Curran took up the ride of Ferns in 2015 and recorded a number of consistent results on the National 2* Circuit including victories at Ballinamona and Lisgarvan One Day Events. Ferns is an 11 year old gelding by Donnelly Cool Diamond, out of  a mare by Rich Rebel (TB)
