Defence Forces School of Music - Careers
Military instrumentalists are full-time musicians whose primary role is to service the musical requirements of State and Military ceremonial. Our military bands perform an immensely varied repertoire of concert and ceremonial music at numerous concerts and community events throughout Ireland and abroad.
Recent highlights include performances with top artists such as Regina Nathan, Cara O’Sullivan, Majella Cullagh, Emmanuel Lawler, The Celtic Tenors and Finghin Collins. Bands regularly perform with international bands such as The Band of the Irish Guards, The Central Band of the RAF and the Central Band of the Belarus Army.
