Armoire Militaire Logistique (AML) 90

The French manufactured AML 90 first came into service with the Defence Forces in 1973. It was first deployed by the Defence Forces during our involvement with UNIFIL
The AML 90 has a crew of three (commander, gunner, and driver) and is powered by a Peugeot engine giving it a top speed of 70 kilometres per hour.
The AML 90 has a main armament of a 90 mm, rifled gun with a maximum tactical range of 2400 metres. It is also armed with a 7.62 mm coaxial-mounted machine gun as a secondary armament.
A laser range finder and image intensifying sight is also fitted for enhancing target acquisition and targetting.
